This session is about dispelling, myths, owning our stories and creating a new narrative as to how we relate to our bodies and allow space for our clients to do the same.

2018 - Mental Immunity - harnessing the power of Meditation to build it! with Angela Kontgen

What if you could feel even stronger, in your belief, that you can cope with and grow through anything life throws at you? Let’s face it, most of us do a "surface job" when it comes to our thinking and our belief systems and these run the show of our lives. If you truly believed that what you think and what you believe has an effect on your life, you wouldn’t go a day without training that thinking and that belief on a much deeper level, a subconscious level. The practice of meditation allows access to the subconscious mind. It’s why so many studies are now showing that Meditation is an effective practice to train and condition the brain & your mind. In this session we’ll get inspired by some of the cool science of the mind on meditation and how it builds mental immunity and practice some creative meditations that build it! (w/s)
